Yinson has once again been included in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2025, marking our second consecutive year of recognition by S&P Global as a Yearbook Member. Yinson is proud to be one of only eight companies selected for this prestigious distinction, amongst 59 companies assessed under the Energy Equipment & Services industry.

In 2024, Yinson achieved a Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) Score of 64, reflecting a 10.3% improvement from its score of 58 in 2023. On top of the steady performance improvement across the ESG dimensions, the strong data availability was also attributed for the score improvement, reflecting our effort to enhance data management and transparent disclosure practices.

The Yearbook aims to highlight companies that have excelled in sustainability within their respective industries. To qualify as a Yearbook member, companies are evaluated based on their CSA score, with a minimum CSA score of 30, a ranking within the top 15% of their industry and a score of within 30% of the industry’s top performers. As of January 2025, more than 7,690 companies from 62 industries were assessed for the 2024 CSA, with only 780 companies making it into the Sustainability Yearbook 2025.

Yinson’s Head of Corporate Sustainability, Dr Renard Siew, commented: “At Yinson, sustainability has always been about pushing boundaries to create meaningful, lasting impact.  Being recognised in the S&P Sustainability Yearbook 2025 for the second year running reflects our unwavering commitment to driving a just and responsible transition, where innovation, resilience, and long-term value come hand in hand for the benefit of all our stakeholders.”

The S&P Global CSA evaluates companies' corporate sustainability performance annually, benchmarking their progress across a wide range of industry-specific economic, environmental, and social criteria. The CSA accounts for practical market insights and focuses on material sustainability factors and major global sustainability challenges. It is widely regarded for its depth and robustness, converting an average of 1,000 data points per company into a quantitative ESG score. As a recognised industry leader, Yinson is part of the S&P Global LargeMidCap Index, which represents the top 85% of float-adjusted market capitalisation across developed and emerging markets.
