Cleveland Browns rookie running back Montario Hardesty has a torn ACL and likely will miss the entire 2010 season, ESPN reports. Hardesty injured his left knee in the second quarter of Thursday night’s game against the Chicago Bears. He’ll undergo surgery to repair the ligament and will be in recovery for about nine months, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "I hurt my knee making a cut. I really don't know what it is. I can't say it's not frustrating," Hardesty said following the game.

The NFL has determined Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger's suspension for violating the league’s personal-conduct policy will be for four games. Roethlisberger left the NFL's corporate headquarters after a half-hour meeting with commissioner Roger Goodell in New York and was en route to Pittsburgh. The NFL fined Detroit Lions DT Ndamukong Suh $7,500 for his controversial hit on Cleveland Browns QB Jake Delhomme last week, an NFL official tells ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The league was expected to review the play, during which Suh grabbed Delhomme’s facemask then held the quarterback’s head as he slammed him to the ground. At the time of the play, the Lions were assessed a 15-yard penalty, but some thought Suh should have been ejected. Kyle Vanden Bosch said that would have been an overreaction.
